Outside of America, in the civilized world Switzerland has the highest gun ownership rates . and they own cool guns too, lots of sig "evil rifles".
The question that should be being asked right now, is why does a country like Switzerland largely enjoy very high rates of gun ownership and low rates of all types of crimes?
Is it a relatively homogenous society? A respectful society? A prosperous economy? Less medications? Less social media obsession? Better mental health? More 2 parent households? Less "keeping up with the Jones"?
The liberals should do a real study and compare and contrast Switzerland to us .
For that matter I think Wyoming has a similar correlation to having low crime rates.
Guns are not the problem. It's a bigger deeper issue and anyone who's first impulse is to just blame guns is nothing more than a thoughtless partisan hack.
Anytime a liberal starts an argument with "I know nothing about guns...but...." I immediately cringe and realize It's going to be impossible to have a rational and logical conversation about guns because every argument they have or use is based on ignorance and/or emotion
If you take away the violence in a few big cities (namely Chicago, Detroit, and New Orleans) and factor out suicides (where they would have just found another way) gun crime in the US falls to virtually zero. Crime with a "RIFLE OF ANY KIND" is almost unheard of.
