Mossberg Plinkster or ?

My boss who resides in NY (I live in NJ) is interested in getting a Mossberg Plinkster but was told he couldn't get one since it uses a 10 round mag & in NY the limit is 5. In NJ you can use mags that hold more than the 15 round limit but they must be blocked. Can that be done in NY??? Thanks.

Where in NY does he live? I'm going to assume since he is in NY and you are in NJ he lives in NYC. I'm am not 100% but I do believe 5 is the limit in NYC. 10 outside of Jail

10/22's have 10 round magazines.

His best bet is to go find a gun store around him and talk to them.

I have one of these and honestly it's a great gun--for the price. It's inaccurate as hell, truly, but for a hundred bucks for a semi auto which, I'll admit is extremely reliable and it always cycles, it's a good purchase. Never clean it, drop some hoppes in the action every once in a while

You can get 5 round mags for a Ruger 10/22. I'd get a CZ455 American.
