Good. As a responsible firearms owner I believe that parents should be responsible if their underage child wants to commit murder, and they supply the weapon for it.

I had an issue with the mother being charged, unless other information comes out. How many parents let their teens store a hunting rifle in their room and nothing ever happens.
Did she KNOW what his plans were? If she did, yes, charge her. If not, I struggle to support her charges.

Thankfully this was averted by people being alert and aware.
I hate to break it to you, but just because YOU don't know the name of the witness, doesn't mean that a story is fake. Police are often REQUIRED to protect the identity of witnesses. YOU (ie, the public) are not entitled to the names of accusers, only the accused is.
