I'm half way between Florida and NY. I don't need a permit to have it. Just drop it off here and I'll take care of it for the 3 or so years it'll probably take you to get a permit

Wow! It was difficult for some of us to move OUT of New Yorkistan. If I were starting from scratch in a free state, it would take a shitload of money for me to even CONSIDER coming to NY. And that would likely only be to enjoy the beautiful summers upstate. Like $50 mil or more.

As others here have stated, you should really reconsider your decision. Re the Luger, if you don’t decide to leave it with @1075tech (or me for that matter here in SC near Charlotte), I would think you could rent a safe deposit box at a bank there in FL to store it in.

Seriously though, you should absolutely reconsider doing this. NYS is shitty for many reasons besides their (anti) gun laws.

Many of us have left, but I had to come back to sell our offgrid property in the North country. Which, is quite beautiful, I really miss the Adirondacks ( except for the gnats, mosquito's, black flies, deer and horse flies ) ok I lied, I can't wait to sell this place and get gone, never to return ( Unless someone dies and there is a funeral )

As @Jmac00 so eloquently points out there is a BIG distinction between that shit hole NYC ( sorry guys on NYGF that have to live there ).
