Americans might not "want" those jobs because they have been sold a bill of goods by our education institutions about going to college and getting a degree, but as we are finding out, degree's without an actual job market don't mean shit. I have an MFA but the only work I could find was as a maintenance man for a state university. I have a terminal degree, but I unclog toilets for the next generation of the educated without a job market. So if you ask me if those jobs deemed undesirable are important and should be available for American citizens should they want or need them, I will say yes.

A shortage of labor for “undesirable” jobs like maids and yard workers would be solved by basic economics if .GOV would just leave it alone. The laws of Supply and demand will fix it. If a yard worker job is undesirable at $10/hour and there are no takers at that rate, the answer is NOT to import workers who will settle for that wage (and then have the taxpayers fund all of their medical, food stamps etc), but to let the market decide what rate is appropriate. At $20-$25/hour you will get more people jumping into the job market.

As far as the rhetoric and name calling, watch less of the MSM bullshit. They lied to everyone for the past 2+ years. Why would you believe anything they say?
