Sounds like some crazy shit going on in Elmira.

Sounds like someone stole a bunch of money from a house, the residents of the house called the police, later whoever was burglarizing the house returned to thank the residents for calling the police with a good ol' fashioned drive by, and then again later.

That whole area is a bit sketchy. I used to use an accountant down where rt 14 crosses the river and I was just down there a few weeks ago signing some paperwork. Get in get out and keep your head on a swivel.

Tbh most of the area isnt anywhere near as bad ar people believe it to be.

I'd say 99% of the issues that come up on the news of shootings and burglarys are individuals who know eachother and someone owes someone money or someone knows that someone has a large amount of cash (going to assume both situations are probably drug related)

I used to travel through east new york in the mid 80’s. So no Elmira isn’t that bad but then I was 17 in shape and could run if I had to. Oh and no one really cared that I had a 4” blade knife on my belt in HS. Now I’m 50 not in the greatest shape and running would probably cause a heart attack.

High probability that they know each other. Also seems high chance that this is part of 13% of the population committing half of the violent crimes.
