My daughter took 8th place in the American Legion State Match

She had a score of 522 of 600. The high score was 541, her actual best was 542 at a local match.
She was the only one to shoot a perfect 10.9 bull at the match and did it 3 times

I was really hoping she was going to take 1st. I am wicked proud of her still. She's disappointed she didn't do better...

So we shot 22 rifle yesterday. She turned in a 294 of 300 and I got 277. She will take top JR and top female for our 22 league. Then she came home and shot an entire 3 position air rifle match in our basement because she's trying to pump her self up for the Camp Perry regional competition.

She also got an award for shooting a perfect score during a regular season match! The only kid to do so.

She's undecided and in 10th grade. Probably 2 years at BCC if we still live in NY. Then move on to something else.

If she thinks about a possible engineering degree and has decent grades, Naval Academy has a rifle team. I don't see Purdue on the list.??

Note that a number on the list are state schools, figure out how to establish residency for best tuition rate.
