My Elevated Box Blind

Built this in 2017. The bottom floor is approx. 10' off the ground. I've got 2-3 deer every year since my son and I built this. We built it in the shop and took it apart and got it down in the woods. Each section is 4' wide and screwed together on site. The roof was a PITA to get up there as it's approx. 18' off the ground. All the windows are sliders and real quiet. Total of 12 windows and 1 door. In the back is a 2 man ladder stand I modified to make a ladder and a little deck to enter the blind. I have a Little Buddy Heater and when it's cold out I can get it to about 50-60 degrees inside.

Life is good.

Where did you get the leg brackets? Where my stand is now we have talked about building something like this. Problem is it's behind about 2 dozen other projects.

Got the brackets from Amazon. $100 but worth the money. I'll be in my stand by 6:15. If I get a deer, fine, if not, I still got to chill in the woods.

Is it hunting? I'm not sure. Maybe you should ask the deer that didn't make it past my stand. I think the longest shot I've made was 40 yards.

I'm having backstrap from last years deer for lunch. Put the meat up in a foodsaver. Looks as fresh as the day I butchered it.
