I am concerned that the Biden administration's solution, step 3, will be to say "The producers of oil, gas, Thanksgiving Turkey's, toilet paper, and so forth, are putting profits ahead of the people so the Government will take over those companies to set fair prices and to save the people from these evil profiteers." Then the govt can reduce production even further.

Nah that can’t happen. Just like that’s not their plan with rental properties. How cannot not be with the you don’t need to pay rent for two years. Well GM is starting a lot more production than they have and Toyota was hit by the chip shortage too. Miraculously it just vanished.

Yes Toyota did have a big stockpile of chips, but there supply did run out as well and they had to shutdown or slowdown for a period of time as well.Was referring more to this:

I just find it miraculous how when GM and Ford call the chip makers this crisis just disappeared after building billion dollar EV factories and taking in the same or more money on less produced. Now after this is complete the issues just vanishes? I’m not buying it. There’s more at play here.

And how’s the price at the pump? I also find it great timing to do this as after thanksgiving the price historically declines because travel ceases. The price will naturally decline a bit and Biden will claim it’s his doing.
