I must of missed the whole duck thing. I dont really see anything wrong with this. In this case i think the duck might be an attempt at humor, what if it was a frog? Frogs cant be president either. Kids think silly things like that are funny. At least theres no blatant attempt to sway your children's opinion on which candidate is better.

Regardless of the seemingly harmless nature of the pamphlet, IMHO it has serious and insidious intent - it's time the Gramscian socialist "long march through the institutions" is stopped, and completely reversed.

IMHO, I'dremindt the superindent of schools who pays his salary, and this propaganda must be removed forewith - or else.

Influencing children, and thus brainwashing them, is easy when they're out of your control for much of the day. Parents should not have to work at home, after working all day, to maintain the primacy of their rights as parents.

It's leftist propaganda, no matter how slight it may seem. The election should have put these Fifth Columnists on notice - they seem not to have noticed.

My first grader daughter was chosen to tally the votes in her class. She bragged to me the next day that Donald Trump won 30-1 and that the kid who voted for Hillary is an idiot. My pre-k daughter screams "she's a liar!" any time she hears the witch's name. I love it!

Their public school is VERY patriotic, which makes me proud since it is named after a POW who died in Korea. They have a ceremony for vets there every year which my kids brag about me attending. It is also in my precinct so I am there often in uniform and that too is viewed positively by the staff.

We're unique in the city being a bright as hell red swatch across Staten Island which overwhelmingly went for Trump. It's what makes living here tolerable and even exceptional in some ways. Sometimes it is hard to justify my anger when I live and work in a part of the city which proudly and overwhelmingly votes red, and supports cops and the military.

My father used to live on Staten Island. Definitely NOT a conservative, but after 9/11 he was a bit more conservative. He worked for MTA for like 22 or 23 yrs.

I agree that it is slight, but I am very sensitive on this subject. Having been a substitute teacher for 1 year I saw the blatant mechinations in many subjects, and the textbooks were abysmal, pushing the liberal agenda in all subjects.

My son went to high school when we lived in Kenya and none of that was seen.

Lastly, while it would be fine to present differing views if critical thinking was part of the curriculum, but it's not, but neither different views nor critical thinking are taught.
