My new Mossberg 930 SPX Tactical

It's an amazing semi shottie. I got it yesterday and immediately took it to the range and put 50 shells through it. It handles like a dream and I had quite a bit of fun double loading. Had some decent groupings 7 shells to the head, 7 to center from 15 yards.

very nice I had one when they first came out. took it to the range and purposely mixed loaded it with slugs, high base and low base shot and buckshot. that thing ripped through everything no problem.

Believe the 930 can actually hold 9 with one in chamber and another on carrier plate and still be GTG in NYS. FUAC

I don't know, the shop had a two of them. One was the a NYC legal version, hence the one I have. The other was one with the pistol grip which I could not have.

Not sure if NYC has additional restrictions but I do know that a pistol grip on semi-auto shotgun is OK in NYS so long as it doesn't have any "evil features" such as a collapsible stock. If your tube can hold 7 rounds, you can also put one in chamber and fairly certain the 930 can also be ghost loaded with another on carrier plate making 7+1+1 equals nine in total. If you have five round tube you should be able to do same thing and get 7 in total. With 5 rounds or less, you can have "evil features" on semi-automatic shotgun including pistol grip (which is not considered an "evil feature" on a shotgun).

Evil in NYC with 5 round limit on any long arm. It's fucking insane... these "administrative codes" they come up with; almost as illegal if not on the same scale as the unSAFE act.

The verbiage is 5 rounds in a magazine, so I'm sure I can get away with 7 total by having one in the chamber plus ghost loading but I'm sure some cockgobbling leftist politician will find a way to outlaw it.

I can't save up for a larger down payment on a house in PA fast enough. Hell, I think I may need to get a second job temporarily to save up faster so I can get out of this shit hole of a state.
