They ticked me off. I had been looking at ammo on their website and they were out of stock on almost everything reasonably priced that was a common caliber, like 7.62x39 or CCI .22s. I put in my email to be notified when they were back in stock.

Today I received nearly a dozen emails that items I was watching were back in stock.

I am skeptical they got a huge delivery just today. It is clear they were never out of stock and they were holding back their inventory to price gouge if Hillary won. I don't do business with firms that roll that way. I can only wonder what the prices would have been if Trump had lost.

Last i knew, tsusa was one of the few good guys out there. Gouging isnt cool, but they are in business to make money.

Im ok for ammo (always want more) but ill wait yil .22 is .04/per again, 9mm around .15 per, and 556 under .30 for good brass cased stuff.

I wish they operated as a tax-exempt non-profit and knocked another $0.02 per round off their prices.

However in the real world they get a lot of my business because they have good prices and they deliver promptly without any BS.

Unlike Freedom Munitions, LuckyGunner, AmmoLand, etc that show everything in stock then take a month to ship to an FFL for an addition fee.

(And gee maybe a thousand other people before you decided to stock up on ammo before the biotch got elected?)

Walmart ammo is fine for me. I don't buy bulk ammo. When I have some extra cash, I'll get some cases of ammo and over that period of time I start filling new ammo boxes. I've done business with them a few times. They're great for hard to find ammo which I'd like, but I don't generally save much money when I have to pay shipping fee's.

Don't worry, go buy you ammo at Cabelas, or whomever, wherever you like! TargetSports will survive...

For the matter, they are one of the few that list their actual stock. Never seen them gouge by raising hard to get ammo, and they do a vast volume of business, I put some stuff in my cart, and got distracted once and when I went back to cart it was out of stock, they had like 200 cases. So maybe you should based your opinion on more than just one attempt to buy something. TargetSports is and shall be supported by me, even if they are on the premium side of pricing largely because they are also one of the few who took the time to find out and understand NY laws and not just bend on the side of caution and restrict anyone with "NY" in their address.

By the way, aren't you the same poster who just agreed with Insurance companies dropping coverage for Gun Shops? Hmmm... Fickled much?

They have flaked out once or twice over the last year with online 'in stock'. Showed in stock, then email received that order canceled. Check online and it still shows in stock! But there was no election at the time, and this is a small error given the volume of orders placed over the course of a year.

I stocked up on 22 heavily back in 2012 and it was $0.04 per round. I likely will be set for a very long time, but I would pay as much as six or seven cents around if I started getting low.

I have had good experiences with them. You're trying to panic buy ammo during a volatile political environment when you could have ordered months ago.

do you have proof they they where withholding inventory with the intention of price gouging? Or is this a "theory" you came up with. The more likely scenario is some kind of computer or human error in their inventory system.

agreed, it could be harmless. we need more retailers like tsusa, especially when we are behind enemy lines.

Hell their distributer might have been holding stock from the retailers in hope to gouge. TSA might have had nothing to do with it. The whole thing is speculation.

Never had any issue with TSUSA. You are aware most websites don't automatically sync with stocking systems? Much less the incoming shipments. Last month I saw several websites with big banners on every webpage that asked you to call find out if they still had the ammo in stock before ordering.

Not that I have anything against TSUSA but if anyone knows of any others that will still ship to non ffls could you pm me.

Yea they def were holding back

After the orlando shooting 223 jumped up from .31 to .38 over night then that afternoon it was .35 and stayed there. Guess they price high and just keep lowering until the buyers show up

Target sports is not a charity?! They are actually in business to make money?! A business would have to be stupid to not adjust prices according to demand. There is no such thing as gouging. It's all supply and demand. I have places many orders with them and never had a bad experience.

I wasnt saying that was a bad thing.

I also only had good experiences with them , extremely fast shipping (to NY!), always pickup their phone and competitive pricing.

Its like the gas station thing, they fill their tanks at X, rbob goes up and they raise their prices accordingly even though they already have inventory. If price goes down they will lower it when the next trunk comes with the cheaper gas.
