She said this before, but I actually believe it this time. That’s good. It’s amazing to see where she’s come this past few months.
I was getting nervous since she took a big role in the diversity, equity, and inclusion role at her job and I thought it would foster that and make it grow in her. She now says a lot just how fucked up people are. She went to some meetings and these people were introducing themselves as white colonizing, murderers and shit. She was like WTF? People acting like this is what’s leading her to wanting to obtain her permit and possibly carry a gun. She said she would never carry a gun, but is now considering it. Hey the more the merrier. I told her good idea. I think I’m going to buy a certificate for a training class for her for Valentine’s Day.

My dad read me an article recently and pointed out that the author referred to themselves as a "settler journalist", and yes they were born in north america.

Wife was contemplating move to academia recently and the wokism pervading universities was a definite cause for concern.

Congratulations! I was able to convince my wife to get her pistol permit a number of years ago. It's nice to go to the range together.

As for her experience at work - this country is getting crazier by the day. All the more reason to be prepared.

Yup, So far my better half has claimed as hers , my S&W snub nose model 19 , S&W model 3913 and once she got proficient with those she asked me to buy her a compact S&W 9mm M&P Shield in robin egg blue for her carry gun. How could I say no ?

I did it for firearms training of western Ny. You can go right on the website and enter any email and name, and they will send them a certificate. The person can then choose any online training date that works for them. The certificate is transferable to anyone for free and if the person doesn’t use it they refund your money minus $5.00 for processing. It’s a 3 hour course not 4 like most I’ve seen.

Thankfully it was only a formality as I was already very experienced from living in a free state. Some of the people in the class with me could barely read or write. I am trying to do the same. Don't want all my stuff going to the state if something happens to me. I can see Hochul smashing my stuff with a sledge hammer if I croak.

I took mine at Buffalo Hun Venter and the dude was a joke. Wrong about so much stuff and said we would all never get a full carry permit.
