Yea. Nobody gets in the yard here unannounced. Livestock guardian dog in the barn barks when they are in the yard which then alerts the german shepherd in the house. Hopefully they help keep people from doing anything stupid.

We have a dog door and a fenced in yard, we don't even get squirrels.

I have to say though, a 130lb Rottweiler catching field mice is one of the funniest things you will ever see. Almost as funny as the wife's reaction when she brings her the newest kill.
