What is a "political coup?"

She is potentially misusing legally available to her tools and methods.

I'm dead set against it, I think its wrong and it will hopefully blow up in her face, but "coup" is not an accurate word here.

It's a silly argument and you should know better.

People toss around "coup" and "sedition" and "treason" with an obvious disregard for the meanings both literally and legally of those terms. Which is either ignorant or mendacious or both.

You do realize that the Maoists don't care whether they acquire power via a "literal" or "legal" "coup" using "literal" or "legal" "treason and/or sedition"?

They also won't engage in any debate about whether to use 5.56 or 7.62 to execute "we" reactionaries.

Or maybe they'll just starve us to death, or stomp our heads apart against a curb, or work us to death making their soy-only lattes with 2 extra shots of espresso.
