NASCAR Begins To Inject Left-Wing Politics Into Racing
The National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, otherwise known as NASCAR, has reportedly started to take a "gradual shift" on its stances surrounding the Second Amendment.
The revelation comes after multiple gun companies have said that NASCAR, which has a primarily Republican base, banned them from running advertisements that feature guns.

"Dark Storm Industries said an ad it submitted featuring one of the company's AR-15s was rejected and online retailer K-Var Corp. said an ad featuring an AK-47 and 9mm handgun was also rejected," The Washington Free Beacon reported. "Both said a NASCAR advertising agency solicited ads from them for NASCAR publications. They submitted ads but were told NASCAR would not accept them

NASCAR is going to be sold, purely $$$$ driven, gotta keep it sanitary for the LIB investors....NASCAR has been dead for years, as with most racing, they killed off the factory competition with the shit ”car-of-the-future” crap...then shit on the red neck contingent that supported them, with all the progressive stuff...how soon before they cancel the opening prayer?

Sadly they do not have to, they have to appeal to the PC corporate sponsors and networks. Social engineering does not require a majority, just a well-placed minority of powerful people.

But they still need to make money to survive, I just don't see how alienating your fan base to appease potential new ones is a solid plan.

They would be so much better off to go back to what got them to where they were when racing was actually watchable.

Yes. Through advertising. It's a science set up to separate you from your money. Private corporations cannot force you to give them money. Instead they make you feel like it's something you want. If you don't want to spend the money it's a tax. If you want to spend the money it's a hobby.

ETA. Do they even use fossil fuel? Ain't it alcohol?

Pretty sure they're burning E-85 now, but that doesn't matter. NASCAR has always tried to instill God, family and patriotism in their fan base. This is everything the people they want to appease to despise, they won't forget that IMHO.

Not sure they tried to instill God, family and patriotism. More likely they used those values as a marketing strategy. But hell, I'm a skeptic.

Flyovers before the race....pre- race sermon I guess is just marketing along with a local NG at most races presenting the flag all for the money.

IDK, but if that is their strategy I hope it fails....... miserably.
