I would gladly join you if we were closer. Yes, I am mad as are you. I'm pissed off at the society that has come to this juncture. I am pissed off at all of those that blame others for their shortcomings. I am pissed off at the enablers that allow them to get away with it. I am pissed off at the loss of children and innocent lives. I am pissed off for being thrown under the bus like I had something to do with this all because I am a white male that has guns and doesn't approve of "their" lifestyle. Come on now... No one is even talking about the shotgun that was home never used. The Sub2000 which was in the game quickly folds to just over 16" long, a piece of shoestring looped over the shoulder and that is never seen by most under a light jacket.
It wasnt a full size AR. It was a Lead Star braced pistol, with what appears to be a 10.5" barrel. Again not very hard to hide, There are dozens of videos out there with people "concealing" far larger under loose clothing or jackets. Supposedly everything went out the front door unnoticed in a red bag which made it real easy. People see what they want to see in their children.

There is a claim that the parents didn't know she had any guns in the house at all. That is not verified as far as I know. There is another claim that the number of firearms she had was 7, not 5. Again, not verified.
This broad was shooting at cops from an upper story window as they pulled up in their squad cars. That was after she already murdered 3 children and 3 teachers/employees of the school.
This meets the definition of a terror attack. This was not simply a grievance against an employer or some stupid bullshit.
To my mind that ought to lead investigators to follow up on every angle.
If the parents are lying about the guns, then they are criminals, plain and simple. Taking them into custody and sweating them individually in interrogation by highly trained law enforcement is called for.
We're not talking about a couple of easy to hide weapons. You may not want to talk about the shotgun "at home that was never used" and whether the parents knew about her guns (including the shotgun), but investigators absolutely should be asking those questions, and NOT be assuming anything.
Crimes involving family members in a single household are often shown to be a lot more than they seem, and most police I've talked to almost always say that in such cases, there is usually more than meets the eye.
A terrorist attack like this demands all options on the table, and no bit of evidence ought to be ignored or ruled out. If I were one of the investigators, I would have a strong doubt that these "parents" who were raising a monster had no clue she had hardware in her bedroom closet until proven otherwise to my satisfaction. YMMV.
