need fingerprints for FL permit

Where can I go to get fingerprinted? FL requires out-of-state permit holders to submit new prints when they renew. Has to be a law enforcement agency. Troopers? Erie County Sheriff? Do they charge a fee?

Last time I had to get prints I just went to the town police. wouldn't take a dime, not even for the coffee fund.

I went to NYSP Clarence Main St. station for free.

Always Troopers in my County (Putnam) free and no appointment needed. The last ones I needed (which happened to be FL also) I went to local barracks and nobody was there. I used the emergency phone box on the outside wall even LOL. (It said if nobody there to use phone box), the Trooper answering said what I needed so I told him fingerprints for permit..he said I'll send someone right over just hang out for a few minutes..and they showed up several minutes after!

State police will do it for free. Must have the Florida Fingerprint card.

Does NYSP keep a copy "for their records" ?

When i got my Onandoga Permit, I had to go to a 3rd party for prints. I think that they were involved in private security guards .
Cost me $100

They do your prints on the card thst was given to you by the state you're applying for then you take that card with you with ink still wet, no copies made.
