I belive the only reason you would need a letter from a doc is if you have had mental health issues that are are no longer deemed an issue. Is this correct?

I hope it isn't. This individual appears to maybe be a teacher. Best of luck to you if this is real. I am somewhat gun shy of new posts like this based on my recent experience.

i will go meet doctor at hospital

This really angers me. Because all this does is discourage people who need mental health services from seeking it out.

If you have anxiety you should feel confident to seek treatment and know that your rights will still be protected.

This is extremely frustrating the position gov puts us in. There are people who absolutely need mental health services but are ignoring it or self medicating because they know if they try to better themselves they're at very real risk of going to lose their guns. That's an absolute tragedy to me. This issue is very frustrating.

Call a legal counsel and they will point you in the right direction including investigating if you have been discriminated by a health professional.

most police and military are on meds for anxiety, insomnia, seasonal mood, etc ... so imagine if people wo history of hospitalization or severe illness could not get a gun.
The amount of lawsuits and liability at the criminal level would create a shitstorm like a blue whale pod with diarrhea.
