Need some reloading advice.

Long story short, a friend of mine had the idea he was going to do some reloading. After buying a bunch of equipment, he decided he didnt even want to try.
All his equipment is brad new ad never used.
He recently gae it all to me.
Im going to gie it a try.
Im sure this is all crappy equipment but im gonna try. IfI enjoy it, I can buy the correct stuff.
First question.....is there aything you see here that is absolutely usless and should be replaced now?
Is this powder good?
Im going to reload 10mm, 357 mag and 38 special.
Annd.....
He bought dies for 308 Win, 45 colt and 45 ACP/AR/GAP.
Just wondering if anyone has dies for 10mm/40 cal or 357 mag/3 spl they will trade for the 308 win or the 45 ACP/AR/GAP?.....I can buy the but thought id ask. Ill keep the 45colt for now, I hae that caliber but dont shoot it alot. View attachment 68553

Wow, you should take your friend out for an expensive dinner or something. Sad to hear he didn't even want to give it a try. Everyone here has given you good advice. My only advice to you would be to keep it simple. That's an overwhelming amount of equipment so take your time, ask advice here, and use YouTube as needed if you're not sure how to properly use the equipment you have.

I have been watching alot of videos and I have a friend who has reloaded for 30 years.
The guy who gave me the equipment is good...I gave him my old JD 110 rider mower last year....we are even.

Crit, I got back into reloading after about a thirty year layoff. My plan was to reload for one caliber that is kind of pricey and with most e-tailers not shipping to NY it made sense. Well, I am now reloading for five calibers!!!!!! Beware of mission creep!!!! Hah!!! In the end, my ammo is more accurate, and I am not only enjoying the shooting, I am enjoying the process too.

My plan is to do 10mm and 357 mag for now. Im sure other calibers will creep into my life.
Im doing 10mm because 99% of the factory ammo is weak and as or less powerful as 40 S&W.....but more expensive. I can buy 10mm from Underwood or Double Tap but they are very expensive.
Im doing 357 mag because I love my revolvers and shoot them alot.
My wife likes 38 SP so I will either load light 357 or maybe reload 38 cartriges too.
