They arent "going commie", they have always been commie.its just that back in the 60's and 70's it wasnt viewed as a viable threat in this country.Communists were hated by everybody,conservative and liberal alike and could never take a stronghold in this country.Personally, I didnt care for his and others commie agenda, as a guitarist I played his music, mainly because girls liked them and being a sex crazed teen... well you get it.Over the years as the libs shifted hard left these ass hats became more emboldened and pushed the agenda harder.So as a teen I didnt care what a singers political stance was if the music was good.I was a fan as a teen but by the early 80's I grew to hate them all.

Except this song is a slam against this Country based on people who pretty much made awful choices in their lives and blame it on everything and everyone else. He's BLM's folk hero. Guy has been a piece of shit for decades. "Look at me - I play music and sing, I've never done a hard day of work in my life, and I'm going to shit on the Country that made it easy for me to do."
