Ok so aftermarket glock frames are actually not that new of an idea,
Lone Wolf Distributors has been doing their "timberwolf" frame for a few years not (I believe like 5ish)
Following them and the craze if 80% ARs, there has been a few companies that offer 80% glock lowers.
Both options are actually supposed to be pretty dang good, one major downside (kind of) is the fact that the market only caters to the Gen 3 model of glocks. Not a big deal unless say you have a gen 4 slide and innerds and just want to swap out the frame and not do a whole build.
Fast forward to now...
Looks like new for 2018 a glock 19 gen 4 replacement (looks like actually 100% not a 80%) lower.
