That's why the original post stated NY only
Then why post the history of the NFA and Hughes. Amendment from a national sense and not at all mention anything about New York in your post?

Well how did they get most online retailers to stop selling NYers ammo? Just a threatening letter. Now the same thing with 80% lowers and many gun parts. Technically they are not illegal here yet but a simple threatening letter has them saying FU to NYers and their money, you don't think this can happen to powder, primers and everything thing else it takes to reload? No, I don't, I just think there is absolutely NOTHING 'they' can do about reloading

Hey I know a Schmuck! They will enact a licensing scheme for the manufacture of ammo and make all the manufacturers who want to distribute in the state get one.
Good luck getting one as John Q Schmuck for personal use.

LOL just one more "law" that I will ignore
Back to this ...... don't get me wrong, i originally posted with "If I am correct."I thought NY is one of 50 States that should abide by Federal law....and State...and local.
Alright I guess I'll just make this simple.. View attachment 62733
I just googled the info for "when did NY ban full auto firearms" and kept getting unSAFEact references and the 1986 ATF gun control act.
Also reads anyone possessing a machine gun will be penalized.
my guess is PA is cosponsoring this bill.Notice the law says SALE of AW ammo is a crime NOT Purchase of said ammo. Really going to be a pain in the ass driving around to every gun store in CNY to get enough to make up a case lot 20 rnds at a time!
I wont even ask where he found that.WTF???
should be assume, its just an image that resides on his desktop?I wont even ask where he found that.

Lol, for real? I don't think I can post it without earning a ban. I forget what I was searching for, but it was totally not for that, yet the image still came up. I couldn't not look, haha.I do.

I've known about the NFAact of '34 and it's tax stamps for 30 plus years. That is not my question. That's because you googled NY..instead of Federal government and what the FEDS decreee...NY dances to along with the other 49 States

Did NY ban full auto in 1934? I highly doubt it. NY used to have a listing of class III dealers that are no longer found since around 2007.
When did NY ban FA?
BTW I'm sure you know the NFAact is not a ban. Just a form of registration with a fee.
And you are likely towards the top of the list for digging up old posts that are not relevant to anything.NYS no. 50 in freedom
No. 1 in tyranny
