Good news! I got a 275 gallon diesel fuel tank being supplied by the fuel company coming.

I called around last week for prices to have my bulk tank filled with off road. Its $.22 MORE than what I can get on road for at the truck stop 15 miles from home. I get they need to cover delivery costs or whatever, but come on. I can (illegally) throw my bulk tank on a trailer and save $75 for an hour of my time and have undyed at that.

Mine is roughly $0.18 right now. I don't care, it is pure convenience and the fact I didn't need to purchase a tank, which also costs money.

I will then have enough diesel fuel to be without power for weeks and not care. Between that and the portable solar generators, my power problems are solved.

+$.18 over highway price for red? Off road should have $.42 of taxes removed, not a surcharge added. I get your situation because you are paying for the "free" tank but no one around here does that, why would it be $.64/gal markup?

They are adding in the delivery charges and I'm sure that "free" tank rental. Either way, I'm happy with my decision. I don't need to worry about buying a tank, dealing with the hassles of someone saying "we won't fill that", etc, etc. They also replace the dual fuel filters every 6 months. It's just nice having that bulk fuel tank right on premises, even if it costs slightly more.

When they went over the contract price, and the numbers they gave, I was happy with it. Wasn't looking to save much money.

Looking at HHO tanks, for the same size if I were to buy it myself, it would've been $1,000, plus a 115v pump, filters, etc -- and I'd need to keep it inside. Tank I'm getting is meant to be outside, double walled, and EPA compliant, so people can't bitch at me. I'm sure the "free" tank is well over $1,000 if I were to buy it outright. I do have the option to buy the tank, but I didn't ask the price. I'm sure it's expensive.

It would take less that 2 weeks to completely shut down the entire state, if tuckers decided not to deliver to New Yorkistan. Truckers have far more power than they think they have. But they need to plan ahead. They need to stock their trucks with cash, in case the government decides to throttle their bank accounts, like the canadian .gov did.

Some Waste Management trucks are NG/LP, but not many. Doing some quick Googling they say they have 11,000 RNG trucks. But in my area, there are none only because a recent coworker used to be a garbage man working for WM. I also drive by the main WM truck site on a regular basis. All they have is two diesel pumps and a DEF pump, and I see the trucks filling up there.

Besides WM, the local trash haulers are all diesel fleets. I do my own trash hauling to the dump once or twice a month as I heard rates are jacked up there for residential, unless you live in a city/municipality that taxes pay for it.

Then you got big ones that I see on the NYS thruway all the time, MBI/Santaro, all their rigs are 100% diesel. I spoke with a driver a few months back, and man did the dude hate anything EV or messing with diesel. Every other word was a cuss word about NYS and their "green" energy bullshit. <<< These are the ones that need to infiltrate Horechul's office.... which if they push their buttons enough, the shit we all enjoy and take for granted can stop. But I know it ain't gonna happen...

If you front me the money to buy the trucks, money for all of my costs, and an extra $500 each I'll buy as many as you like in PA and resell them to you for $1. Any vehicle that is purchased after being sold new is now used, regardless of the miles on it.

I wonder IF an Attorney(s) have looked into the language: When they say a certain number "sold" does that mean offered up for sale, or actually delivered? Legislators, Staffers, and those supplying proposed Laws don't always (ok, seldom) know WTF they're talking about.
If this stands, the State could demand XX number of "Smart Guns" be sold by Dealers: OK, we'll put one on the shelf, but nobody's going to buy it and we'll still be in compliance...can't make people buy what they don't want or can afford. (unless it's Obama Care)

I am not sure where all this X percentage at X year came from. The law passed states "increasing volumes of new zero-emissions vehicles offered for sale or lease, or sold, or leased, for registration in the state towards the target of one hundred percent" Passenger cars and light trucks are 100% by 2035, medium and heavy duty are 100% by 2045 "where feasible"
To answer your question though, the use of "or" to me in "offered for sale or lease, or sold, or leased," means they have to have them on the lots to be compliant, not sell them
