Well, I mean CT is a state with one of the lowest crime rates in the country according to Lamont. So it makes perfect sense that they would want more gun control

does the ATF in CT contact all local gun stores in CT and ask for a list of “other” purchases and corresponding address?

Once they have your address, do they then come knocking on your door with a warrant for seizure?

If so, I need to arrange shipping to FL !!

I don't think the ATF would have anything to do with it. These aren't their rules. This would likely all be enforced by state entities.

You can't.
They are trying to get people to register their guns. Only those who registered will be allowed to keep them.... *for now!

Guess I’m just stunned even with CT’s “Sandy Hook state of mind”, they still have a provision for Grandfathered home builds, unserialized firearms.
