Yeah. These aren't exactly going to fly off the shelves in most of the US. I'd like to see a price point comparable to the Troy, myself. Though, I could be persuaded up as far as $1200... Above that it becomes difficult to justify for me personally. Not to rule it out completely, though.

Especially since they seem to be starting with pistol caliber at first (which means even less sales in NY, even just slightly) and not sure when or if say 5.56 will be offered as someone mentioned before it would probably be a lot of work on the trigger design

Well, that snub was a letdown. I sure hope this thing isn't another flash in the pan like that football launcher. I like mechanical engineering and the idea of a revolver like DAO trigger squeeze from a mag fed platform checks lots of boxes, especially in brain dead restricted environments like NY.

Exactly. To me it says that they are lacking confidence in their own product and need to carefully select who handles / reviews it. I feel that if said product is truly good it will stand on its own merit regardless.

Hell I dont know if you saw my thread about the Desert Tech MDR? But they did a review if the gun and it was bad it did not work at all pretty much.... well desert tech got ahold of those two brought them in and immediately got working on fixes for the gun and the CEO put out a video on the issues and fixes

It is hard to speculate as to their motivations, who knows other than the guy that made the decision.

I thought about this more and thought they should have just come out with the barrels. Period. I now just saw a hank strange video where he said they were going to sell just the barrel or upper. I don't think it would have been such a colossal disaster if they would have just done that in the first place. $2000 for the whole package is just ridiculous.

Yikes. Yes, not an amazing spokesman. Kind of surprised he couldn't answer how it's different than a braced AR pistol. The biggest difference is it's not a "pistol"!

In the audio the guy goes on to shooting people at 50 yards. A bit cringe worthy overall.

That's actually surprising. And great. I was a little worried though when he said the atf hasn't looked at it yet. Now that they are redefining things like a bump stock being a machine gun what will they say about this? If they can get it to market it would be a good option though. Hopefully places like NY and CA won't make up their own definition.

I'm still not to happy with the whole thing that went down with inrangetv, I watched both videos of the inrange then the one hank strange did with Franklin Armory. And it's not jiving to me. I didnt see anything wrong with inranges video

So what is this thing in NY exactly? I guess you'd still need the 16" barrel but now you can have a collapsible stock, pistol grip, because even though it's detachable, it's not a "semi".

We can also see why they use pistol carrier because the bolt travel is much shorter.
