My family who lives in New Hartford/Utica area told me that it was locked down tighter than a drum that Saturday afternoon.

I was also told there is a lot of gang activity at the Pinz (bowling alley).

Ain't the mall I remember as a kid, especially when Pennys, Sears, and you had Kleins All Sports there. Man those were the days....... :(

Whelp, there goes THAT guy's concealed carry permit. All that time and money wasted "cuz dat motha' be dissin' me, gon' make him pay"

I keep hearing that the town wants to convert it into housing/mini-city due to all of the strip malls. Ever since the main anchor stores left.

I dunno, have no reason to set foot on those grounds. In fact, I don't even like the town of New Hartford, but I got one family member that lives there.

Any body wanna take a guess as to the perps skin color?
Use to go there for Christmas, birthday and so on type shopping, now it's just a place to go to when you want a reason to ponder living.

So, little guy gets pushed in the back by big guy, they have words while little guy back peddles, then little guy pulls out a gun and shoots at big guy. Then, while running, little guy goes back for what appears to be shoes. I thought only women got that hostile over shoes.

I must be older than you. I remember Riverside Mall being the new thing.

I still remember walking around in that mall, when you could walk around in it.

About 10 years ago I got to go inside the defunct area of the mall and it brought back memories.

Amazing how Basspro was once a Montgomery Wards. In fact, if you look carefully inside and out, to the trained eye you can still see how it was built, along with some of the old openings.

Down on Commercial Drive, I still remember my parents buying a fridge from Inkawich's Appliances (where Walgreens is now)...
