New Jersey AG Sues Florida Gun Dealers Over Refusal To Hand Over Sales Records
After the two companies received a seize and desist letter ordering them to stop selling magazines to New Jersey residents, Grewal says his investigators haven’t been able to successfully purchase any of the banned magazines. That’s not enough. As NJ.com reports, the Attorney General is very interested in finding out who in New Jersey might be in possession of these magazines.

The suit, filed in Superior Court in Essex County, alleges the companies violated the Consumer Fraud Act by selling the high-capacity magazines. That’s punishable by 18 months in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
State Attorney General Gurbir Grewal ripped both companies in a statement.
“Large capacity magazines are illegal in New Jersey, which is why I’m continuing to file suits against LCM companies that sell their products to our consumers,” Grewal said. “The companies we’re going after today have repeatedly stonewalled and withheld evidence from investigators, despite a subpoena. If a LGS/FFL is legally allowed to sell any product at there location, does it not become the buyers responsibility to know what they are allowed to purchase?

If i were a FFL in Florida, I would tell the Nazi Jersey AG to go fuck himself. its not my responsibility to control YOUR citizens. If you want to control your citizen, set up a boarder patrol at your state line and search everyone the passes through

Actually, if you're from New Jersey and buy OEM factory mags and hollow point ammo in Florida or any other state where it's legal, then you're 100% legal. If your permit is good in that state, then you're GTG in that state. If I was traveling to Florida from NJ for vacation and legally carrying in FL, you bet you're ass I'd have ammo and mags purchased in FL, equivalent to repel the local land pirates. These local petty tyrants need to understand the limits of their power.

Their investigation has been unable to obtain illegal sales from the vendor, and despite not only no suspicion of illegal activity, but the proven fact of none, and the State AG still wants to try and fluff his wings? Nice try...

I would advise the AG not to enter Florida's borders as just maybe he'll be arrested for harassment! Or does he believe he enjoys some sort of diplomatic immunity? Lol
