Has anyone been successful in getting a NJ non resident permit? On their website it seems that they are pretty specific with only giving out of state permits to people who are required by "work" to carry.
Lol
You know there's like literally 100 non-LEO permits in the whole state of NJ right? Forget out of state. They have that nonsense up to avoid lawsuits.
I actually did not know that. There go my hopes lol. So theres no carrying in Jersey unless you're a reaident huh?
Even residents can't carry because they can't get carry licenses.I actually did not know that. There go my hopes lol. So theres no carrying in Jersey unless you're a reaident huh?
Oddly enough, except for carry, NJ is far better than NY for guns. But when it comes to carry, you have ZERO chance. Think NYC but statewide.
Really? Can't even own and possess hollow points.....in addition to no CC permits.

I still would rather live in this gulag then in NJ. Carrying a pistol is definitely more important to me then a rifle with a pistol grip at home.NJ has AR's, no hand gun ownership permit, 15rd mags, online ammo sales, you can allow someone to shoot your handguns.
Also, a big surprise to me that I couldn't believe when I found out: inheritance of handguns requires zero reporting to anyone. Perfectly legal to remove a gun from your dead pop's house and take it home.
I tend to agree, but my statement was correct: other than carry, NJ is a far better place to be a firearms owner.
I respectfully disagree simply because the fact that I would much rather have the right to carry (with hollow points) over anything else. I know you said "other than carry", but IMO that trumps everything.I tend to agree, but my statement was correct: other than carry, NJ is a far better place to be a firearms owner.
Not sure about CC permits but hollow points are allowed in NJ for hunting and target shooting and may be possessed in Sportsman's residence...

May I ask, In what aspect? I seems that CC is uncommon there? I only ask, I have no knowledge in this subject.

If it wasn't for the fact that they tax pensions, I'd be moving there upon retirement.
