Then there's still hope for new pump action centerfires..I just like that the lever action rifle is having a moment again. I recently acquired a Marlin SBL and have yet to shoot it but boy howdy is she a beaut!

If I remember correctly they made the model 14 in 4 different calibers. My grandfather had two of them.30 caliber, if I remember right. Use to carry one deer hunting in the ADK. Sadly he sold them off.
Thanks for posting, now I need to put that gun on my buy list. I still have a box of 30 Remington ammo that I didn't return to my grandfather. I still had his minty 7400 when he passed but the pump was always my favorite. If I remember correctly they made the model 14 in 4 different calibers.
.25 , .32, .30 & .35 The one that I posted is in my favorite caliber .35
Several years later Remington came out with the pump action model 141 Gamemaster . That was made in several calibers as well.

Crazy that Rifle sells for more used today than new when they were made....35 Rem ammo isn't cheap or plentiful anymore either!Found a model 141 in the 35 Remington.
I need to look but I should have several boxes. I hunted with a Marlin lever in 35 for years before switching to bolt action.Crazy that Rifle sells for more used today than new when they were made....35 Rem ammo isn't cheap or plentiful anymore either!
It’s lever/ manual. Threaded is “allowed”. It’s only a concern in scary semiautoThe Homesteader was a no go in NY last I knew. Threaded barrel on a autoloader.
Though It's still nice to see new rifles with wood and blueing hit the market.
Same here. I think I have something like 120 rnds. Of .35 same with 30-30I need to look but I should have several boxes. I hunted with a Marlin lever in 35 for years before switching to bolt action.
Never understood why Marlin discontinued the "Camp Carbine" as other than an occasional issue with stocks cracking in the receiver area, they always worked and used common (S&W 9mm/1911) magazines...to this day they'll still fetch 650 to a grand.
