I'd have to see it, but that mag-well looks like it may be half an inch thick.

It isn't smooth too. I can see a lot of fumbling happening under pressure.

Looks flared out to me, could actually aid in loading. Frankly unless you3ve handled one, i dont think either of our differing opinions matter until it sees some use, mine included.

Definitely cool factor but at $269 sale price is $$$. Fixed mag bench/showpiece maybe but too open for real field use on a removable mag gun. I see potential for foreign material to cause a problem.
