Not sure of any one here remembers the sunset gun shop. It has been so long I forgot the name. Bought a bunch of guys from him back in the day.

Something like around 20 years ago he got kicked out of town because some dipshit kid bought an AK clone from him and went down Main Street shooting the place up.

New Paltz sucks anyway. I watched that town turn to shit years ago.

This is why my Gun Club which already had 120+ acres, Had a chance to buy another 87 acres and then 34 more next to that across the road so no building could go on happen there!

You don't buy a house across the road from metro North/ LIRR train station- tracks and say I want them to move the trains because it's too noisy or I'm afraid it might derail one day.

Actually, that's exactly the kind of bullshit these yuppies spout.
I remember the hoopla when the National Weather organizations wanted to put the new Doppler Radar at the Batavia airport. Some putz who just had to move next door to the airport started screaming how horrible it was.
Then the complaints when the airport wanted to extend their runways to handle larger planes.

Yes, Sunset Sporting Goods was owned by Tony Tantillo (R.I.P.). He was a good guy and it was a nice little shop. More than once, I went in to buy bait and came out with yet another gun.
