Cut out of work at 11 to go fishing. I think it was worth it. 44 inches and 31 lbs.Took me 18 minutes to get her in the boat all by my lonesome. My back is paying for it. Unfortunately, she did not survive the fight. I will be having a replica made from it.

Yes, took me almost 20 minutes to get it in the boat. Unfortunately it hit my piece of shit ugly stick rod which is smaller not my Penn rod. Rod just about bent in half until I loosened up the drag some more. And boy did she run. Right before I was trying to net her she went for under the boat. I twisted awkwardly real quick to prevent that from happening and there went my back, again, for the second time this week. Bending over to pull a 31lb fish into the boat with one hand did not help. All the pics with me holding the fish I was extremely uncomfortable with my back just tightening up by the second. But, was well worth it and a small price to pay for the experience and reward. Now , if I could just figure out how I’m going to wipe my own ass

Yeah, really not worried about it. Could have left it dead floating in the river? At least it will be of use to my son who eats these friggin things. Was not coming back, there was no ill intentions. And I’ll tell DEC that as well . And it’s not posted all over the web, it’s only posted here, where my one and only social media account is. I’m comfortable taking the chance. To each their own.
