Maybe screw a small piece of rail to the foregrip and then attack a small laser.

AK's aren't accurate and I own 2 and have shot dozens more. For the money people pay for an Uzi you can get a decent AR in 9mm or a Sig MPX and have a better platform.

Google turns up a whopping one result, that appears a number of places, but seems to only fit the Remington 870's.

so obviously this is a legal to own non nfa firearm due to the definitions provided by the nfa. therefore it is good to go in NYS. would this not mean that something like an AR-15 receiver with a pistol brace and barrel over 16" in length, and an Overall length greater than 26" would be compliant with the safe act? i know there were a couple of companies putting out a product like that a few years ago, but i forgot who it was.

so would that configuration be good to go? or am i missing something?

Logically speaking, yes. I think i may build one in something like 458 socom. Theres nothing in our penal code directly addressing something like this. Im not a lawyer, yada yada disclaimers.
If these shotgun like guns are legal in ny, so should those other ones.

Yup same thing. But no way they will do it......too close to a "real" AR. They just could jot get past that.

If you showed them the law ONLY and not a picture it would be fine. But the picture just scares the libs/lawmakers/SP.

Ok so what are these going for? Saw one today, they want $455 when they actually sell it. They are a bit skeptical about the answer they got from NYSP - wouldn't give them a yes or no, just a look it up in the penal code!
It's heavier than I thought it would be and that's good! I don't need it, but I think I want it.
