New Rochelle man arrested with cache of guns

He looks like a normal decent guy. I hope he raises a RKBA defense about there being no history or tradition to require any license to keep firearms in your homes. He then has a decent chance at winning if the case goes up to SCOTUS.
That's not him. His father maybe. So I'm not sure of the point.
Wonder who he pissed off ??the humanity

No one. They probably got him for the p80. They’ve nabbed a lot of folks with that. Remember how James got all the credit card info from online stores? Bingo.Wonder who he pissed off ??
Doesn't Westchester county require house visits to check your gunsafe every couple of years. I wonder if that's how they got him. Even in New York, I would think any judge signing off on a search warrant would want more information then a CC purchase. No one. They probably got him for the p80. House visits are to make sure you have a safe. They never look inside the safe. On the other hand NYS has a task force investigating “ghost guns”. AG James sent out cease and diarist letters to all the online companies selling p80s to NYS residents and if I’m not mistaken at one point was requesting customer lists. So yes they could obtain a warrant if they wanted to. This is NYS after all. And for the last year we have seen them raid a lot of downstate residents who were regular every day citizens living in the suburbs paying their taxes, but were railroaded for owing a p80. I think @GOYABEAN has posted a few articles of guys who were nabbed for this. Bottom line is - if you purchased a p80 online with a credit card it is likely your name is on a list and at some point there’s a high probability you may be arrested.Doesn't Westchester county require house visits to check your gunsafe every couple of years. There is definitely more to this story. I believe that up until a year ago p80's were legal to purchase in NY. I would think that obtaining a search warrant based on a credit card purchase over a year ago would be a difficult sell with any judge without corroborating evidence. Did he purchase them at a out of state gun show and was followed home. Did a house visitor notice a p80 in plain view or was he talking about it when he shouldn't have.House visits are to make sure you have a safe. They never look inside the safe.
