New shop opening in Mannsville, NY ( little south of Watertown)

A member on Survivalistboards is opening a shop in Mannsville ( 15 minutes south of Watertown / Ft Drum area) next week.
They're going to push reloading supplies and ammo by the look of things. I've only had a couple of PMs with the guy.

I suggested he join the party at NYGF.
Once I find out more, I'll post the info.

I've had contact with them on SB. I'm still kinda surprised about opening a GS in NY with FUAC as gov. I hope they do well, I might even stop by but it's about 3hrs each way.

Hey, Thanks for the shout out! I am the crazed person, who with her husband, just opened a gun store in Mannsville. Yes, tech issues galore, I think the website is up and running as is FaceBook, not finished or polished but going. Never been on FB so it is a learning curve. I don't want to break forum rules about promoting a business but I did want to acknowledge our existence. Our shop name is Caliber Plus Shop. I am not the gun person, more like The Comptroller. Husband is the one to talk to about guns and if ds is areound he is an absolute nut. Have a mentor who has been in the gun business for years . This is exciting but absolutely nerve racking. Thanks again for the mention!

@CaliberPlus, Best of luck! There's a vendors forum on this little band of misfits, deplorables, and FUAC despisers; I've not checked out the rules, etc. as I'm not a vendor, but @NYGuns or any of the mods can help you. You can PM them and I'm sure they'll help.

I stopped by last Wednesday. Nice shop. New, clean ,bright.
They had around 50 units on the racks of all types. Rifle, shotgun, MSR, C&R, and some and handguns. 70% used items.
Their website and FB is under "Caliber Plus" . They have some pics up.
Tracey and her husband were "good people".
Will stop by again.

My wife and I will be heading up to the 1000 Islands in August and will stop by. You know that stopping in is going to cost me a trip to a quilt shop!

There is a quilt shop just a short distance from us, maybe 3 miles or so. August 17 and 18 is the Thousand Islands Gun Show so we will be gone. Hope to see some of you folks in the shop and at the show.
