Ummm...marked on the base of the projectile. How many markings on the base of a projectile will be readable after being subjected to the hot gases from the propellant charge or if the projectile hits a hard object?

Really my point is just that it's complex enough that the sponsor of this bill has no idea what it would take to implement--the work would be considerable, and so I don't see them putting it through.

I have a stockpile of +/- 60,000 rounds of rifle and pistol ammo that I can "deliver" to the State House in Albany....one round at a time....from a distance....

OKAY at great personal pain, i will help you dispose of that contraband ammo. top you want to deliver it to me or i guess i can come by and pick it up!

how often doesn't it need to be updated?
i shot like 10000-12000 rounds last year and am on a faster pace this year.
can the state just put GPS chips in each round and they can keep track!
