this is what I have been saying since the RF laws came out.

Yeah no. Hochul didn't get a contempt charge nor are any coming from this court. As for Federal Marshals, well the Federal in their name should be enough to go on. lol

SCOTUS *can* find a state official in contempt if they decide they are willingly defying them.

They *can* issue a federal warrant for their arrest.

I believe that warrant would be served by the marshals.

It's basically the same process that would happen if you try to ignore a court order for child support.

If you have guns, your neighbors know it.....like on my road.

He had an AW/ghost gun and 30 rd mags....he showed one too many people...............some one else may have been arrested, and in exchange for a lighter sentence, ratted on him.

I can tell you, that the cops keep tabs on everyone they can, by world of mouth. I got inspected for oversize mags twice, by friendly cops who had been here before the safe act and wnated to make sure I was "safe"......no over ten rounders here, but in Pa, where I keep them.

I keep a low profile and only hang with car and gun guys over age 40.

No it doesn't. But go ahead and cite it and we can discuss.

Everyone needs to stop acting as if the SCOTUS is a law making branch of government. That's actually a Democratic party belief. The remedy is for congress to either change or affirm through better language and legislation any law that went before the court and ruled on. Especially 5-4 decisions. But we can all hold our breath on the GOP to do so. In this case a constitutional convention needs to happen.

Congress can take action on NY through funding, but without the executive branches support, nothing will happen. It is in fact the AG responsibility to police SCOTUS decisions but again, without the support of the Senate who approves AG nominations and the executive branch, nothing happens because the nominee shouldn't have been passed through or the President intervenes.

So it is in fact, elections that remedy all.

This was more than a welfare check, that was used to contact him. He was already a prohibited person. He has an extensive history with LE. He's even made threats to secret service when Bush was in office.

Our system isn't working nor do those in power want to play by the rules. This is not a unique situation as much as you might want it to be. There is plenty of precedent for their actions and they rely on that. SCOTUS, with their majority isn't pushing this because of precedent.
