NFL bans pro 2A ad but Approves Michael Bloomberg's Super Bowl Gun Control Ad

IMHO, if you watch the NFL or NBA, you are a traitor. Or maybe a Nazi.

It's always funny to see people post tripe like this. This is exactly like the Liberals think, "if you don't do things my way you are literally Hitler".

So you would have people march in lockstep with your demands, rather than thinking for themselves and making their own decisions. Nice tyranny you got there.


I'll be the first to admit I watched the game. It was a good game and I was well entertained by it. That's all it is supposed to be, after all. Entertainment.

One takeaway... I don't remember seeing any ads by Bloomberg, nor any anti-gun ads. I did see a lot of local ambulance chaser lawyer ads, and a couple of local Ford dealer ads. Hard to believe they'd cough up the dough for a Super Bowl spot, so I can only assume Time Warner/Spectrum was usurping the ad spots from the NFL. I wonder if the NFL knows that. It would devalue their $11mil cost if companies thought they wouldn't get the reach they hoped for.
At least they left the Jeep commercial in there. That was funny and entertaining.

Bloomburg definitely ran an anti-gun ad. I watched it and somehow managed to not throw up. Had some mother on that lost her kid (probably gang related) wearing mothers demand bullshit. It was pathetic.

Watched it because I like to be entertained. There was some nice pieces/attempts before the game to honor the flag and those who served (incl. Pat Tillman)


Just watching this bit puts a tear in my eyes. Now, the NFL is gonna catch shit either way, "Oh they're just trying to suck up to those who protested Kaepernick!" if they show it, and they'll catch shit if they don't, so I'm glad they did.

Also, being the 100th year of the NFL, they honored 4 100 year old WWII vets at the coin toss.

In another bit, a kid is racing across America to bring the ball to midfield for kickoff. At some point, he pauses in front of Pat Tillman's statue and silently reflects for a second.




To me, these were all the best parts of the game last night.

Including Tillman was pretty awesome. I had to explain it to my wife, and she was impressed too.
