I feel safer. 
Freaken idiot! Federal installation, no firearms allowed. I left mine at home because of this. He is under age, no permit. No sorrow for him!

Somewhere I have some pictures from the restricted side of the airfield there when I worked in the old Bell Aerospace plant. The pilot of an A10 waved at us as he did a low speed low altitude turn over our heads. I can recall the F-16s leaving side by side, with the burners lit, going straight up, rolling and nosing down to go 180 degrees opposite from Canadian airspace. That was before they brought in the C-130s.

As of July 1, 2016, Idaho statute allows residents 21 years of age, not disqualified from having a permit, to carry a concealed firearm statewide without a permit. Permitless carry is already legal outside of city limits for individuals 18 or older, and open carry is currently legal within city limits.
A person does not have to have a concealed weapons license to carry or be in possession of a deadly weapon or firearm in the following circumstances:

Didn't even lock mine I'm the truck. Can't say they were doing "thorough" searches at the entrance to the field but they had ALOT of people to deal with. Good show. Missed the F18 Hornet cause my wife made us leave 2 hours late....again. We spoke very little at the show.

It's interesting the different levels of awareness people have concerning gun laws from state to state. If you're from NY you're just plain paranoid. In any event, every military installation I've ever been to as a kid has always had large signs posted at the entrance about firearms being prohibited.
I wonder if NYSP scrutinized his car differently because he had non NY plates? Profiled?

I guess what I should've said was that I didn't bother even bringing on the property and locking in the truck. I did go through the MD and I honestly don't know if I even saw them 2nd check anyone who went through them. And my wife was worried about bringing in a ham sandwich.

You served. You spent much time on Military installations. Constitutional Rights are very different in that world.
Hell, you can go to jail for exercising your First Amendment Right.
As soon as you drive onto a Post/Base, you give up the Forth Amendment.
