Nikon leaving crowded rifle scope market

There's a good deal on a P-Tactical .223 1.5-4.5x20 with a bdc reticle and instant zero turrets (basically like my 308 scope) OR there's a Primary 1-4x24 scope with a v-plex reticle w/ an illuminated dot in the middle.

Both priced the same, would go on my AR. I feel like I'm partial to the Nikon, but the illuminated dot in the middle of the Primary scope would be more useful.

It just so happened that a Nikon scope of mine went bad a few weeks ago, 'Slughunter'. I couldn't find the required receipt for warranty work, so I figured its a darn good scope and sent it in anyway. Well I guess that postcard that I sent in to them when I bought it worked!!!!!! Just got it back and, NO CHARGE!!!!!
Course, I still have to mount it up and make sure its' al jake, but for now I'm happy.
