IMO all fees for firearms should be banned under the constitution similar to 24A. There is a reason poll taxes are illegal - they create an artificial barrier to a right. These gun fees added up exceed the cost of actually purchasing a firearm (admittedly a cheap one like a hipoint), to me that would certainly qualify as an artificial barrier. Personally, I also think the equal protection clause would cover all firearms fees as illegal but I'm also not a lawyer...

absolutely especially when you consider the people they lie and ponder too the poor folks. These people are effected by taxes and fees much greater than some one in the middle class such as myself.

i have always said, what we have to go thru with 2A .. should apply to Voting too .. id's .. fingerprints .. background checks .. fees .. all of it ..
will take a yr to get your pp .. well you then cant vote then too .. or have other Rights ..

scrap it all .. or man up ..
