seems like something that where you need to form brass from parent cartridge would be something you really dont want a firearm that spits it halfway across the range..

seems like a good bolt gun cartridge

There is no forming needed just neck up from 6BR to 6.5mm. The same dimensions and headspace.
And yes I suggest a brass catcher or put a simple screen up so you don't have nice brass going everywhere.
In terms of complexity is a simple one to neck up and reload. Very accurate just like the 6mm BR.
Match winning type of accuracy as proven many times by these cartriges.

Yes I have tried the 120gr TTSX and they are perfect for this case and chamber. You can load them to max coal in the magazines. ASC and PRI 6.8 magazines are the best. One cannot load them full stack because this is a larger case but nobody will need the 10 bullets. This is not what this upper is designed for. This is for either winning matches or taking on long range 1000 yards w/o the need for a large AR.
I have not hunted with this bullet but based on the sppeds achieved and accuracy it will be a very effective w/o the need to go for a larger 308 based upper like the 6.5 creedmore and 260R that are more expensive to feed and barrel will not last like these due to the extra heat.
I can find out the precise speeds from previous tests if you are interested. I think H4895 is the powder to go to but also runs great with Varget
and Reloader 15. All super popular powders as you can see.
