I am offering a healthy, three year old female bearded dragon for sale. I have had her since the egg was laid and hatched. Father was very yellow, mother normal - this particular one is fairly normal looking. Asking price is: Make Me A Reasonable, and I do mean a reasonable offer. Cash only.


I need it sold fast, within two days, if possible. If I do not get a reasonable offer, it will be loaned out to a friend for use as a school classroom animal.

For local sale only, I can deliver (to almost any very public location) in most of Nassau County and maybe western Suffolk and parts of Queens.

Pretty docile but a bit nervous when first picked up until she has her feet firmly on something, then docile. I hardly ever handle her, so some handling would improve that.

Still for sale. Thought I had a buyer. Drove about 15 minutes to meet him. He showed up 15 minutes late. Stood there and talked to me and looked over the bearded dragon for about 25 minutes to a half an hour. Told me at least 10 times he was taking it.

Then when I said it was his for $100 that I had offered it for, he asked if Icould do any better on price. I said no especially since they go for about $200 in her condition and since I was also giving the buyer about 250 to 300 free super worms in the deal.. He asked if I could hold it for him until later tonight. Then asked where do I live as if he wanted to meet me later tonight at my house and I just cut him off and told him he does not need to know where I live as I do not do deals at home.

You just about have to be out of your mind to allow anybody to reply to a Craigslist ad at your home nowadays or go to anywhere but a very public place..

Good luck with finding her a good home, she's a pretty one too. Hard sale to try selling her without a setup or tank even, someone has to be totally prepared to drop her in. Do you have any old tanks and old light fixtures to help with the quicker sale you need? I've checked with my exotic pet friends and nobody had room or looking to add. I do wish you best of luck.

I do have my positive experience when I did exactly that, went to a dudes house somewhere in CT. I did it in January to get the larger tank for my Beardie. I completely and 100% agree with your statement about meeting at sellers home is lunacy BUT, my seller had a real nice set back country home with nice cars and a beater in the driveway with NRA stickers LOL. So we talked and enjoyed our encounter and extremely fair sale with eachother, and I drove off wicked happy and satisfied I got lucky I didn't have to come out blastin for my tank

We had the same problem trying to sell some end table. Lots of people wanted to come to the house. I told my wife no way. She'd say well it's just some women. I said until she gets here and it's 2-4 huge guys or she's just casing the place. No way do I ever let anyone come to the house from CL.

Yes dipshit fits in my opinion. The dipshit sends me a text today asking if it is still available. I text him back saying no it is not but thanks for the interest

Then he sends me another text saying he will now pay $100 for it. I sent one more text explaining to him it would have to be available for him to do that.

I suppose he only said he would pay now because I said it was no longer available. I think that he indeed perfectly fits the bill as a dipshit!
