Not happy with tandemkross at all

I bought a ruger sr22 a while back and had issues with it. I determined the tandemkross ss captures guiderod was not strong enough and the pistol was borderline going in and out of battery. So I notified them. They were great about it and sent me a new one right away. A few weeks later I tried the new one same issue. I contacted them and they said they had bad springs. Go figure. They said in about a month or so they would have a new spring developed and tested. I said what the I'll wait and they were honest. I'll reward them. Today I got the new spring and tried to install it an can not even get the slide back on the frame. I'm so done. I'm returning them for a refund. Done I am.

Small manufacturer for gun parts. Had great reviews and good products from what I could tell. A few issues like I described, but seems like they took care of it for people with a replacement. Guess I'm not so lucky.

if there being honest and delivering parts shit happens .. i know the wait n try game sucks at times .. i would stay and try a bit longer .. there small and trying to grow ..

I follow some junior shooters and they use a lot of there stuff on there ruger 22 pistols ..

I've been in contact with them and this is my third spring. It seems they were having issues with the spring quality because the spring would loosen up almost immediately. The went with a thicker spring and it looks like more spring on the guide rod. Not the spring is too much and it binds on the rod and I can't get the slide on the frame. This is the third one so how many more chances do I give them??

I contacted them and they sent a new spring. I received it today and same thing it does not fit. I told them I'm done refund my money. They said no problem when they get the springs back. So 4 replacements springs and all bad. You would think they would check after 2 bad ones. Also the one previous to this the screw was not epoxied in so if during the course of shooting the screw would have losse ed up I would not have been able to remove the slide for cleaning. I would have had to cut the guide rod and risk damaging my pistol. Sorry I'm done and other than their customer service I can't recommend their products. They again admitted they are having issues, but come on.

For anyone who has a faulty spring, all you need to do is call or email tandemkross, explain to them that you have a faulty one and need a new one and they will replace it for free. They stand by their products.

I had 3 bad springs too weak and 2 rods that were too long. I couldn't even get those 2 in the gun and the slide back on. Also one the screwed on end was not glued on and was loose. After shooting it would have loosened up and I would not have been able to remove the slide without cutting the rod and risk damaging my gun.

What is the advertised advantage of this rod and spring? I've never had a problem with my all stock SR22...

I am wondering the same thing.

My buddy down here who runs the LGS put an SR-22 in his Fiance's purse (it is her carry gun!!). He could have put her in pretty much anything. They decided on the SR-22 because it fits her needs. She can shoot it REALLY, REALLY well. I know for a fact this particular SR-22 has over 2,500 rounds through it, and still hasn't missed a beat. He ran it until it actually started having problems due to being FILTHY to see how many rounds it would take to get it to hiccup. It was in the neighborhood of about 800 rounds or so. He and I shoot together all the time, and he always torture tests it everytime we go to the range.
