Not all. There are certain circumstances of I read the you becoming a prohibited person if your permit is revoked. You have to commit offenses and not filling out paperwork isn’t that.

Just heard a rumor that recertification of the new NY CCW permit will require a class be taken and certificate submitted the next time you re-certify Basically you would have to take a class every three years. Anyone heard this nonsense?

I heard it was a one time course and it’s up to the licensing authority as to what training constitutes that requirement. I know of retired cops who have to take that class if they want to keep their carry permit.

I guess I can check with the county. But this is exactly what the SCOTUS case was about. NY's original law didn't have restrictions and licensing counties operated outside the confines of the state law. So, we would be back to the original argument if counties decided on their own placing stipulations for licensing not explicitly in the law. Great! Faster track back to SCOTUS.
