BROOKS: I want to direct your attention to 10 United States Code § 284 which authorizes President Trump to deploy the United States military to the southern border to build fences and to do a lot of other things, and for clarity, if you look it up in the dictionary the word fence includes the word barrier and the word barrier includes walls made of a wide variety of different materials.
So that having been said, it seems to me that 10 U.S. Code § 284 can be used by the President of the United States to direct the United States military to build a wall. Now as of today, you’ve mentioned military forces along the southern border, have any of them been deployed pursuant to 10 U.S.C. § 284?

The only reason I believe he has lost is not because the wall isn't going to be built, rather how this has empowered the left. They just got reaffirmed that their negotiation style works. Which is you fully give the dems what they want and you loose everything. It's really astonishing they believe this is negotiating.

I see where you are coming from but disagree. this just showed that the dems don't care about America or its people and are hypocrits of the highest order who care only about political victories and nothing of substance. This whole political stunt they pulled is only a petty victory for those with TDS. The kicker is, the wall will get built without their say so anyway, so it just goes to show that their resistence was in vain and in my opinion permanently damaging to their party.
What you see and are interpreting is the truth of the situation. As we all know the truth is toxic to Dems and they create their own delusional worlds to avoid it.
