Notifications ( I don't like the new way)

I'm just going to say it. I don't like the way notifications are now. It used to be, you'd log on and you'd have a number above the bell icon telling you how many new notifications you have. Once you looked at the list of new notifications, that number would disappear until you got a new notification. Now, the number above the bell icon flashes a number, like you have notifications (I guess notifications you haven't marked as read) but then disappears. This happens every time you refresh the page or go to another thread or sub-forum. You shouldn't have to manually mark each one as read. It's annoying and not an improvement.

Thats weird, mine are acting the same as they always have. Something in a profile setting somewhere maybe?

@ArmedCorgi I went to Account details then Alerts and clicked on mark read in little box on the top right, seems to have fixed the issue.

I'm going to have to do that every time to clear it though. Before, you didn't have to. They would clear once you clicked on the bell and looked at the list of notifications.

Can the notifications be fixed? Every time I go on the website on my iPhone it keeps showing the notifications alert over and over no matter how many times I click the notifications icon.

I think this is a bug with the update they installed. Give it time there will be a fix.
