The NRA's bankruptcy filing has been dismissed by the Texas judge who agreed with AG Tish James that NRA is using this bankruptcy case to address a regulatory enforcement problem, not a financial one.

Everybody saw it coming. It was such transparent bullshit I don't understand how the Judge was able to keep his composure during proceedings.

You say everyone saw it, but there sure was plenty of people even just on this forum who cheared for the NRA and the bankruptcy.

It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. The way I see it is that the NRA can now be sued into oblivion. At which time they can legitimately file for bankruptcy protection.

He should be hung and all his assets liquidated and returned to all tge lifetime NRA members. Harvest and sell his organs to add to the proceeds.

If you read the Judge's ruling the Board was aware they were under scrutiny by NYS in 2017 and Wayne said he'd clean things up. It is clear he didn't. It is also clear that the Board didn't follow up on what Wayne was doing about it since 2017, meaning they shirked their duties as Board members. This is why NRA has dumped tens of millions into legal fees trying to kill all this. Wayne isn't the only one in trouble, the Board is.

Unfortunately the board is big enough that their responsibility gets diluted. NYS isn't going to go after almost 80 board members individually.
