NYS insurance law states a company cannot provide coverage against criminal behavior. The argument by the commie Financial Services bitch is that the insurance policies are illegal because if you use a gun to defend yourself, you MIGHT be found guilty of a crime if prosecuted and a policy that pays for your defense would violate the law.

I would think the same holds true for auto insurance. If you are DWI/DUI & found guilty of vehicular homicide then all expenses wouldn't be covered?

One of the things you hear gun control advocates claim is they think gun owners should be require to have insurance. I don’t think having insurance is a bad idea, personally I wanted to sign up for it, but making the government require it? Whatever, not my style. But then, these same asshats now make that same insurance harder to get? I don’t fucking get it. These assclowns need to their story straight. Fucking idiots.

As the Supt of DFS (a Dept Cuomo created in 2011 that steals power for his office previously held by the AG or Comptroller offices) she is leading the charge against all insurance companies to end all coverages that reimburse innocent victims who act in self defense with policies she called " murder insurance". They are also ending insurance reimbursing legal gun owners following loss, theft, or damage.
